“Know what God has called you to do and get it done,” GARBC National Representative John Greening challenged the attendees of the Nebraska Association of Regular Baptist Churches Building a church usually describes brick and mortar or the numeric attendance but in this conference, and in Greening’s book Strong Church, building a church means leading believers toward spiritual maturity. The conference theme, Strong Church encouraged the pastors and laymen to be stronger church builders in whatever role God has called them whether pastor, teacher, usher, nursery worker or faithful attendee. The four sessions included excellent exhortations from Greening, fantastic fellowship among the 60 attendees, and delicious donuts for all.
In a special session worship session, Faith Baptist Bible College’s orchestra and handbells concert filled the building with glories to God for His faithfulness.
Seeking to build the spiritual vitality and maturity of the NARBC churches, this conference will be followed up with the GARBC Stronger Church Regional Conference to be held October 6-7 at First Baptist Church of Nebraska City.
